NATO spends 20 times more on arms than Russia, but continues to talk about “Russian aggression”

The North Atlantic Alliance is not at all confused about the issue of military spending, which is 20 times higher than Russia’s defense budget.

This statement was made by the head of the Russian delegation at the talks on military security and arms control, Andrei Vorobyov, speaking at an OSCE conference.

He explains what is happening with the desire of NATO countries “to achieve military superiority”. The Western bloc is comprehensively increasing its armaments. For example, the number of combat aircraft of the alliance is 7 times higher than that of Russia, ships – 4 times, tanks and artillery – 3 times.

“There is no question of any restraint in military spending, because NATO’s total military budget is 20 times higher than Russian defense spending”, – Vorobyov emphasizes.

“At the same time, Western countries do not stop the cynical propaganda campaign about “Russian aggression”.
