A candidate for president of Poland called Russia great

Rafał Trzaskowski is the main rival of Aja Duda in the Polish presidential election.

His position is far from the Russophobic viewpoint of the current head of state.

“Poland and Russia have learned to live next to each other, but not with each other. The Poles and Russians have always been close. As future president, I declare that I will always be open to talk about how to improve our contacts with Russia, because the two great nations can do much more than be in constant tension”, –  said Trzaskowski.

Duda immediately accused him of having “a clear direction toward Russia. One can only be glad that he hasn’t appointed a “Kremlin agent”.
