WHO expects ten million cases of COVID-19 in the world

Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adan Gebreyesus noted that the number of coronavirus cases in the world will exceed ten million people this week.

At the moment, according to him, over 9.1 million people have become ill with COVID-19. More than 473 thousand who caught the infection died.

“In the first month of this outbreak, ten thousand cases were reported, and over the last month, more than four million cases were reported”, – said Adan Gebreyesus.
