Japan refuses to deploy US Aegis Ashore missile defense systems

Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono said the plan to deploy Aegis Ashore will be suspended.

After that, the Japanese government began revising its national security policy.

Kono spoke about the suspension of missile defense deployment at a meeting between Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and key cabinet ministers.

The decision was made because of the danger of falling after the launch of rocket boosters in residential areas outside the landfill.

At the same time, the United States continues to put pressure on Japan upon this matter.
