US relocates to Poland two thousand military

The United States is relocating to Poland not one, but two thousand troops, according to Gazeta Prawna.

Polish President Andrzej Duda plans to visit the United States on July 24. One of the main topics of his talks with the US President Donald Trump will be military cooperation.

“Up to two thousand American soldiers should come to our country, and not up to a thousand, as previously assumed. The command of the US Army V Corps, which is now in Germany, will also be redeployed”, – the report said.

Also, according to the publication, the US “has a plan to deploy about 30 US F-16 fighters to Poland”.

In addition, the newspaper reports that during Duda’s visit to the United States, it will be agreed that five used C-130 Hercules transport aircraft will be handed over to Poland.

Also, according to the publication, Poland will soon announce its intention to buy combat helicopters in the United States.

“It is expected that it will be AH-64 Apache or Bell AH-1Z Viper”, – the statement said.

Presidents Duda and Trump during the visit of the Polish leader plan to sign the DCA (Defense Cooperation Act), regulating the conditions under which US troops will be in Poland.

Currently, about five thousand American soldiers are stationed in Poland.
