The former Ukrainian president does not even understand how humiliating this sounds.
According to EADaily, citing CNN, in an interview with the American channel, the ex-president of Ukraine and the leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko said that his country was and remains one of the most pro-American states in the world.
“Believe me, today Ukraine is one of the most pro-American states in the world”, – Poroshenko is convinced. “We are very grateful for providing us with such significant amounts of support to protect our sovereignty against Russian aggression, our territorial integrity, and our independence”.
Acting as wishful thinking, he even stated that it was Ukraine that became the “unifying factor” for Republicans and Democrats, who, he said, defend freedom and democracy.
