It is expected that the German ambassador to Russia will take part in the Victory Day parade on June 24 in Moscow, the representative of the embassy told the reporters.
“The ambassador Geza Andreas von Geir is expected to take part in the parade”, – the embassy said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier decided to postpone the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory due to the difficult epidemiological situation. In the cities of Russia on May 9, air parades and festive fireworks took place. At the end of May, the president announced that the Victory Parade would be held on June 24
