Ukrainian security forces fired on Gorlovka and wounded two, declared in DPR

The Ukrainian security forces fired on Gorlovka controlled by the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s republic on Friday, two people were injured and the water supply was damaged, a representative of the DPR People’s Police told reporters.

The report said that the shelling in the morning was carried out by a 503 battalion of 35 brigades in the areas of the villages of the 6-7 and Gagarin mines (villages in the city of Gorlovka – ed.) Using mortars of 120 and 82 mm caliber, firing more than 25 shells.

“According to preliminary data, as a result of the shelling, a civilian was injured, and the water supply line that feeds the settlements on the Ukrainian-controlled side of the territory is damaged”, –  a spokesman said.

He noted that by the actions of the DPR units, the fire activity of the Ukrainian security forces was suppressed.

“Additional information about the victims among the population and damage to the civilian infrastructure is being specified. In addition, one defender of our republic was injured”, – a representative of the People’s Police of the DPR said.
