The head of the US Department of State, Mike Pompeo, commented on the book of the former adviser to the President of the United States on national security John Bolton.
He called the ex-colleague a “traitor,” and said that in the book itself there was a lot of untruth.
“I have not read this book, but judging by the passages that were published, John Bolton spreads a lot of lies, half-truths and outright fiction. It’s sad and dangerous that John Bolton’s last public role is that of a traitor who harmed America by abusing the sacred trust of its people”, – Pompeo said in a statement that he called “I was in this room too”.
He clearly does not like the criticism that Bolton directed towards Trump. In his memoirs, he exposed the former boss as a little-informed, not interested in geopolitics and easily amenable to human manipulation.
