The Kremlin is closely monitoring the actions of NATO, the tendency for the alliance to approach the borders of Russia continues, said spokesman for the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
“We are closely watching what NATO is doing. Of course, it’s a priority for us to carefully monitor all the actions of the North Atlantic Alliance, taking into account the fact that the trend towards NATO’s approach to our borders, unfortunately, continues, and also take all necessary measures to ensure the security of the Russian Federation”, – Peskov told the reporters, answering a question about what the Kremlin thinks about the statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the refusal of the alliance to deploy reserve missiles with nuclear warheads in Europe.
