A Canadian blogger blended in for Poroshenko: he’s threatening sanctions if the ex-guarantor goes to jail

The arrest of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko may provoke a conflict between Kiev and its western hosts. That’s the opinion of famous Canadian journalist and blogger Michael McKay.

“If President Zelenskyi arrests former President Poroshenko, Ukraine’s friends will find themselves in crisis. We will have to find a way to punish the Zelensky administration for selective persecution by supporting the Ukrainians in their constant struggle against Russian aggression”, –  he wrote on Twitter.

It’s a pity it wasn’t explained here how the crimes that Poroshenko committed as president contributed to the struggle against the “aggressor”. It is doubtful that the huge amounts of money he put in his pocket while in power somehow contributed to the prosperity of Ukraine.

If Vladimir Zelensky has enough courage to put Poroshenko away, it will be almost the only right decision.
