A well-known lawyer and human rights activist Andrei Portnov said on June 16 in his TG channel that the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine filed a petition with the court to take former president Petro Poroshenko into custody with an alternative pledge of 10 million hryvnia in the case of the illegal appointment of deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Semech on which he was given suspicion.

“The office of the Attorney General is petitioning the court to take Poroshenko into custody with an alternative to a security deposit of 10 million hryvnias in a case in which he was suspected by the State Security Committee,” Portnov wrote.
