Businessman Vyacheslav Platon, sentenced to 18 years in prison, was released by court order.
This was announced on Monday, June 15, by Plato’s lawyer Ion Kretsu.
The businessman should be released from Chisinau prison № 13 today. The court suspended the sentence against Plato, as the case against him was found forgery.
He was imprisoned by the efforts of oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuk in the case of theft of a billion. As it is known, Plahotniuc is the key figure in this crime, which in Moldova has already been called the theft of the century.
