According to the head of Russian diplomacy, the Euro-Atlantic is facing a crisis of confidence.
In an interview with The Revue Politique et Parlementaire, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the potential for cooperation between the Russian Federation and the EU is idle because of the West.
“I’m sure: the current scenario is far from what Charles de Gaulle had in mind, well aware of the counterproductiveness and futility of “Europe without Russia”, – the Minister said.
Lavrov believes that the Western community is dominated by the line indicated by those who, having arrogated to themselves “the right of the arbiters of the fate of mankind”, made the choice in favor of NATO-centricity, geo-political games with a “zero sum” and the logic of “leader-slave”.
