The European group discussed the financial provision of a plan to recover from the pandemic.
It was proposed by the European Commission. The European Group concluded that political support is needed at the level of the European Union.
“The risks are still significant. In any case, we are in a deep recession”, – said its head and Finance Minister of Portugal, Mário Senteno.
The plan proposed by the EC will be discussed by EU leaders at the European Council.
