Reuters: Esper ordered an analysis of the National Guard’s actions during the protests

U.S. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy has been appointed responsible for preparing the review.

The Pentagon will prepare an analytical report on the actions of the National Guard during the protests caused by the death of African American George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The corresponding order was issued by U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Thursday.
