This was stated by Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernalis.
He held a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawecki at the Kalwaria border post. Skvernialis said that this issue was discussed at a meeting “face to face”.

The expectation is simple – the more American military personnel in this region, whether it is the Baltic state or Poland, especially when it comes to the corridor in Suvalki. We all understand that this is direct, direct security”, – he said.
