The US President Donald Trump said that the city of Seattle was captured by “internal terrorists” and called on local authorities to give the city back, otherwise he threatened to do it on their own.
“Domestic terrorists have captured Seattle, which is, of course, controlled by radical left-wing Democrats”, – Trump wrote on Twitter.
The head of state has criticized Washington Governor Jay Insley and Mayor Jenny Durkans for inaction.
“Get your city back now. If you don’t, I will. This is not a game. These ugly anarchists must be stopped immediately!” – he added.
Protests and riots in several US cities began after the death in Minneapolis at the hands of African American George Floyd police. Videos appeared on the Internet in which the police handcuffed Floyd, knocked him down and fell on him three, one of them stepping on his neck with his knee.
Floyd on the video several times repeats that he can’t breathe, then he stops. He died in intensive care. After the riots started, four policemen were fired, and one of them was accused of negligence.
