There was a protest by teachers in downtown Athens

Greek teachers went out to protest against the reform of education, blocking traffic in the center of Athens.

The demonstration was organized by three trade unions. They demanded not to pass the bill on education, as they believe it is “anti-education”. In particular, the unions assert that the bill is aimed at reducing the number of teachers.
They also oppose the provision that allows broadcasting classes online (according to the authors of the document, this will help not to interrupt the educational process in case of quarantine), as they consider it a violation of confidentiality.
