Taking advantage of the anti-racism sentiment of American society, presidential candidate Joe Biden suggested the idea of paying reparations for slavery.
“If there really are ways to get direct payments, I want to see them”, – said the 77-year-old Democrat at an online conference organized by the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People.
Payments should be made to both African Americans and indigenous people, he said.
