The detainees for the preparation of the attack are associated with radical Ukrainian groups that are conducting hostilities in the Donbass, the FSB said. They seized communications with information about impending crimes, as well as improvised bombs, small arms and cold steel.

“It is no secret that the Crimean Tatars mainly trade on the market in Simferopol. Obviously, the curators of saboteurs (in fact, terrorists) set themselves the task of raising a wave of indignation in the Muslim community and provoking anti-Russian protests, possibly protests. The technology is famous and dirty. One of the organizers’ strategic goals is most likely to create tension and a radically negative background – on the eve of voting for constitutional amendments and the holding of the Parade,” Semyon Pegov wrote on his Telegram channel.
