China denied US and Russian nuclear weapons talks

China is not going to take part in tripartite talks with the US and Russia on nuclear weapons. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Hua Chunying.

According to Chuning, China has repeatedly expressed its position on this issue, but the United States is trying to draw Beijing into the discussion of extending the strategic offensive arms reduction treaty and throw off responsibility to other countries.

“When you hear statements by officials from such a country about their intention to conduct sincere negotiations, there is a very strong feeling of insecurity and lies,” the representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, recalling that the United States has already withdrawn from a number of treaties.
