Military bases in Georgia will be equipped according to NATO standards

All military bases existing in Georgia will be equipped according to uniform standards, both in the USA and NATO countries. This was stated by Georgian Minister of Defense Irakli Garibashvili.

“On my behalf, absolutely all bases will be equipped according to a single standard, as it exists in the USA”, – the minister said, noting that Georgia adopted the same standard as in the US army.
Garibashvili did not specify the time required to complete this process.

On the whole, speaking about the current Georgian Defense Forces, he said that this year arms from the defense budget will be spent from GEL 100 to 120 million (from more than $ 33 million to $ 40 million).
