The G7 Foreign Ministries are agreeing on a possible joint statement on the situation in Hong Kong.
The initiator was Japan. The document wants to demand from China to reconsider the decision on preparation of a bill on national security in Hong Kong.
However, the adoption of such a document is in doubt. Not everyone thinks that it is possible to pry into the internal affairs of China. Apparently, common sense does give signs of life.
