Mockery of the dead: Why the next Russophobic falsification of MH17 failed

An investigation into the crash of a Malaysian airliner in the sky above the Donbass is not conducted, but instead, more and more speculations are generated that do not have significant evidence.

Last spring, the infamous falsifiers of Russophobic accusations “Bellingcat” and “The Insider” once again published a provocative pseudo-investigation. It was based on information allegedly provided by some dubious Internet sources, as well as on audio recordings of telephone intercepts. Allegedly, the latter were handed over by the Security Service of Ukraine. It is noteworthy that Kiev never carries out examinations, but only transfers them to the countries of the western bloc.

Extremely controversial materials did not stop the authors from loudly accusing Colonel General

Andrei Burlak of the First Deputy Head of the Border Service of the FSB of Russia in the plane crash. This conclusion was made based on the results of the examination of audio recordings by employees of the National Center for Media and Criminology of the University of Colorado, as well as the Lithuanian Center for Forensics.

However, despite the voluminous text of the falsifiers, the manipulations with expert opinions and schedules, their arguments collapse for one reason: the SBU audio recordings were mounted, and the experts from the United States and Lithuania either did not conduct their expertise at all or did not verify the authenticity of the materials. But, the necessary file analysis was carried out by independent experts.

In particular, Akash Rosen, a senior digital expert at Malaysian OG IT Forensic Services, confirmed the intentional misrepresentation of the audio recordings provided by the SBU.

“This is edited. The noise level is different from this audio track, ” he said. – This is a fusion of audio. And here you can see how many cut segments. “

The German expert Norman Ritter also conducted his examination. His results coincided with the results of Rosen.

“I found only nine manipulations. There is a lot of editing here. And I really doubt the authenticity of these records, ” he emphasized.

The authors of the Bellingcat project, which had previously been convicted of producing custom-made anti-Russian information campaigns, did not even bother to take into account the barely matching meaning of the replicas in the audio recordings provided to them. The public was presented with loud but empty accusations that would be forgotten, like the previous ones. At the same time, no real investigation is underway that looks like a vile mockery of the victims of a plane crash.
