The head of the German Ministry of Health, Jens Spahn, proposed the creation of a European alliance for mutual support during crises like the coronavirus pandemic.
“The new alliance could be a kind of NATO in the field of health,” he explained.
The Minister noted that in order to provide quick and effective assistance, uniform structures are needed that can mobilize resources that experts and doctors can resort to.
