Almost 40 refugees from abroad returned to Syria in 24 hours

Nearly 40 refugees returned to Syria from Lebanon over the past day, according to the newsletter of the refugee reception, distribution and accommodation center, published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.




“Over the past day, 37 refugees returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from Lebanon through the Jade Yabus and Tell Kahlah checkpoints (including: 12 women, 19 children). From Jordan, through the Nasib checkpoint the withdrawal of refugees was not carried out”, – the report said.

In addition, one refugee returned to the places of permanent residence within the country within 24 hours.

It is added that the engineering units of the Syrian Armed Forces cleared 1.8 hectares of territory per day in the settlements of Duma (Damascus province), Jasim and El Harra (province of Deraa). 37 explosive objects were discovered and destroyed.
