Former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia moved to New Zealand, where they live under new names.
This was reported by The Sunday Times, citing a source in the British government.
He said that they had come up with new biographies for the Skripals and issued them the relevant documents.
It is also alleged that the Skripals were provided with assistance so that they could “start a new life”.
On March 5, 2018, it became known that in British Salisbury, a man and a woman were poisoned with an “unknown substance”, after which they were hospitalized in critical condition.

In August 2019, the Russian embassy sent another note to the British Foreign Ministry with a request to respond to requests for progress in the investigation of the Skripals poisoning. The embassy called on London to answer the main questions: what is the fate and state of health of Sergei and Julia Skripal.
