American Democrats have decided not to lose their way and are using protests to once again bite President Donald Trump.
So, the Senate proposed a bill that would limit presidential power in the application of the law on rebellions.
“President Trump threatened to use the law of the era of slavery to drown out calls for justice from thousands of Americans protesting centuries of racist oppression”, – Democrat Richard Blumenthal, who was the author of the bill, claimed.
According to the document, Trump will have to ask Congress for permission before using the Uprising Act, and will be able to apply it only during 14 days.
