Discussion of the topic of the de-occupation of Crimea is impossible in the “Norman format” due to the categorical position of the Kremlin. This opinion was expressed by the ex-deputy minister for temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Georgy Tuka.
“I see no signs of such actions,” said Tuka. – The fact is that such steps require the consent of at least the Russian Federation. And Russia throughout all these years categorically refuses not only to take part in any events, but even to discuss the possibility of holding such events. ”
In this context, he recalled the statements made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in April of this year, as well as the recent statement by Russian President’s Speaker Dmitry Peskov regarding Crimea.
