Police use tear gas against protesters in New Orleans

New Orleans police used tear gas to disperse protesters. This was reported on the city police on Twitter.

Riots in the US continue after the death of African-American George Floyd at the hands of a policeman in Minneapolis.

It is noted that gas was used after the protesters refused to comply with the order “do not try to cross the Crescent City Connection bridge.”

At the same time, the police indicate that they were forced to resort to such actions “in response to escalation and physical confrontation with the police.”
