The non-profit organization Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT) sued in connection with a special decree by US President Donald Trump on the regulation of social networks.
“The president’s actions are a direct attack on freedom of speech guaranteed by the first amendment,” the NGO said in a press release, “the President made it clear that his goal is to use the threat of retaliation and future regulation in order to force platforms to change their content moderation, from -for which reason the danger of misinformation and pressure on voters will grow unhindered in the election year ”.
