Amid such disputes, the head of the Pentagon, Mark Esper, has already called on his subordinates to “remain apolitical in these turbulent days,” and James Miller has exponentially resigned as a member of the defense science council. Moreover, Miller criticized Esper.
“Perhaps you could not stop President Trump from directing this terrible use of force, but you could resist him,” Miller said.
