Extremists possibly related to ISIS* attacked police in Indonesia

Unknown extremists armed with a samurai sword attacked a police post in Indonesia, one policeman was killed, the other is in critical condition, France Presse reports.

The attack occurred on Monday morning in the province of South Kalimantan, said national police spokesman Ahmad Ramadan. Police officers injured one of the extremists; he died on the way to the hospital.

In addition to the samurai sword, an attacker found a koran and a letter calling for jihad.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating the connection of the attack with the terrorist group ISIS*.
