More than 700 Taliban men released in Afghanistan

The Afghan authorities released over 700 members of the radical Taliban movement in two days, and another 300 will be released on May 31. This was reported by Tolo News.

“A spokesman for the National Security Council of Afghanistan, Javid Faisal, said the Afghan government has released 710 Taliban prisoners from different prisons in the past two days, another 290 will be released tomorrow so that the number reaches two thousand, as ordered by the president,” the channel said in a statement.
