Afghan diplomats are ready to begin negotiations with representatives of the Taliban terrorist group.
This was announced by the head of the Supreme Council of National Reconciliation of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah.
He emphasized that Kabul expects “not to waste efforts” and achieve “a long and dignified peace” in the country. At the same time, Abdullah praised the ceasefire regime that came into force and the exchange of prisoners.
