A CNN reporter was released after being arrested while covering Minneapolis protests over the death of an unarmed black man.
Omar Jimenez was taken away in handcuffs when he was broadcast early Friday morning. His cameraman and producer were also detained, apparently because they did not go any further when they were told.

They were released without charge.
Minnesota Governor Tim Wals apologized, calling the incident “unacceptable.”
CNN said the arrests violated the constitution.
What happened?
Mr. Jimenez was in Minneapolis reporting a third night of violent protests over the death of George Floyd. A video appeared on Tuesday in which a policeman kneels at Floyd, despite the fact that he says he cannot breathe.
Mr. Jimenez reported live on the arrest in the area where the police station was burned.
After the crew filmed the arrest on camera, the police began to move towards them and instructed them to move.
In the video, Mr. Jimenez identifies himself as a CNN journalist, and you can hear him telling the officers: “We can return to where you would like to be here. We are live now. ”
An officer in protective gear says, “You are arrested,” and takes him away in handcuffs.
