Bloomberg Agency and the German European Center for Economic Research separately presented calculations according to which Warsaw would have to become a donor to the economic recovery of southern Europe.
As REGNUM reported, after Bloomberg and the German European Center for Economic Research announced that Poland could become the second donor of the EU reconstruction fund after Germany, Warsaw became worried.
“The Poles don’t really want to help the countries of Southern Europe affected by the coronavirus pandemic,” say the authors of the Russian Demiurge TG channel.
The idea of creating a special stabilization fund, expressed by the representatives of Germany and France in Poland, was not happy, the news excited not only politicians but the whole Polish society. Such a reaction did not surprise the Russian senator Alexei Pushkov.
“Is Poland a donor? I have never been seen in this, ” wrote Pushkov.
