Moldovan President Igor Dodon immediately appointed seven ambassadors who will represent Chisinau in seven countries of the European Union.

The decree signed by the head of state indicates seven diplomats and the country where they will work: Igor Bodiu, Ambassador to the Republic of Poland; Anatol Chebuk, Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria; Alexander Codrian, Ambassador to the Czech Republic; Alexei Kracan, Ambassador to the Portuguese Republic; Larisa Mikulets, Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland (currently located in Dublin); Andrian Rocha, Ambassador to the Republic of Latvia, and Anatoly Urecheanu, Ambassador to the Italian Republic.

“During the conversation with each of them, he emphasized the importance of deepening relations with relevant states in order to strengthen trade and economic ties, attract foreign direct investment, improve relations at the regional level, expand cultural and humanitarian contacts, and, not least, for exchange visits at the level of heads of state, ” said Dodon.
