The United States fears any military clash with Russia, as it understands that it will be immediately followed by a nuclear strike.
According to RIA FAN, a military-political expert and former head of the Israeli intelligence agency Nativ, Jacob Kedmi, said that the updated Pentagon nuclear doctrine of 2018, which allows limited use of nuclear weapons to break the non-nuclear conflict, applies to any country except the Russian Federation. Also, the United States is unlikely to be able to attack China. Washington understands that Beijing will support Moscow.
“The situation between the USA and Russia is such that any attack, any aggressive activity of the US army against the Russian Federation from the point of view of Russia will be met with a strategic thermonuclear strike. So this will not work, ” added Jacob Kedmi.
From the expert’s point of view, the conflict between the USA and Russia will not develop under any circumstances as a non-nuclear “exchange of actions by tank divisions”. Kedmi added that the US can only use force against non-nuclear countries that are unable to respond with a full-blown strike on American territory.
