EU anti-Syrian sanctions will be extended soon.
On Wednesday, May 27, the TASS news agency reported, referring to a senior EU representative.
The decision will not be affected even by the fact that the Arab Republic is fighting the epidemic of coronavirus. At the same time, a Brussels official claims that by extending sanctions the EU will “send a strong signal” to official Damascus. In this regard, the EU representative recalled that Brussels accuses the Syrian government of using chemical weapons.
