The number of detained Hong Kong extremists defending US interests in this administrative region of China has increased to three hundred.
According to reports, the radicals did not dare to storm the parliament building, around which barriers and special forces were deployed. However, thousands of protesters began to riot in other areas of Hong Kong, provoking clashes with security forces.
So, in the afternoon, the main extremist forces were transferred to Causeway Bay and Mong Kok, where, according to The Guardian, the radicals engaged in provocations of schoolchildren who were eventually detained by the police.
According to law enforcement officials, adolescents who participated in the riots found weapons, in particular, Molotov cocktails. Police also said that the radicals set fire to garbage cans and dumped barriers on railways.
