Ex-Prime Minister Maya Sandu is ready to criticize even initiatives to increase salaries and pensions. And all this for the sake of their political goals.
This statement was made by the deputy of the Party of Socialists Grigore Novak.
He wondered how much he should hate his people in order to hypocritically assert solidarity with ordinary citizens and boycott the support of hundreds of thousands of pensioners.
Novak also recalled Sandu’s brief premiership. Having barely become a high-ranking official, she began to cut spending on medicine and youth support. The only things she raised were taxes and electricity tariffs.
“Everyone remembers Maya Sandu’s hysteria last year, when she screamed that the government has no money to pay 700 lei [40 dollars] to pensioners for Christmas,” the parliamentarian said
