Iranian tankers continue to enter Venezuela unhindered despite U.S. threats

The third Iranian tanker with gasoline enters Venezuela without any hindrance. The ships are bringing gasoline into the embrace of the economic and fuel crisis.

In total, 5 tankers are to deliver to Venezuela only about 170 thousand tons of fuel from Iran worth about $45.5 million.

Forest is the third tanker of the Iranian caravan that is carrying fuel to Venezuela. The second, Petunia, is already walking along the country’s shores, while Fortune stood at the second berth of the port of El Palito refinery, located west of the capital Caracas yesterday. According to bloggers Tanktrackers, the tanker has delivered 43 thousand tons of gasoline to Venezuela.
On video the Su-30 and F-16 fighters of the Venezuelan Air Force (Aviacion Militar Bolivariana) were escorted by an Iranian tanker.

It should be added that the U.S. was strongly opposed to the supply of Iranian oil to N. Maduro and stated the possibility of applying measures against Iran. Iran and Venezuela are already under US sanctions and have nothing to lose. The authorities of both countries accuse the U.S. of actions unacceptable from the point of view of law, especially in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, and promise to protect their interests.
