Dozens of Chinese companies and organizations have come under sanctions.
This was reported in the US Department of Commerce.
The department has created two “black lists”. The first includes 7 companies and 2 institutions that are allegedly involved “in human rights violations and abuses committed during the Chinese campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, forced labor and high-tech surveillance of Uyghurs” in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the PRC.
More than two dozen Chinese companies and departments were included in the second “black list” for cooperation with the Chinese army and the implementation of trade operations in its interests.
According to the US Ministry, for entities under sanctions, restrictions are imposed on the purchase of goods produced in the United States, abroad with the participation of the United States or according to American technology.
