The FBI said the shooting at the Texas Navy base was terrorism-related

One person was injured as a result of the shooting.

The shooting, which was opened on Thursday near the U.S. Navy base in Corpus Christi, Texas, is related to terrorism. This was stated by the U.S. FBI official Leah Greaves at a press conference that was broadcast by the local branch of NBC TV.

“We have established that what happened today at the Navy base in Corpus Christi City has something to do with terrorism”, –  she said. Grieves did not explain how the investigators arrived at that conclusion. As she added, authorities are looking for a face that might be related to the person who opened fire.

A U.S. Navy soldier was injured in a shooting at a checkpoint on base territory. He was originally hospitalized, but has now been discharged. The identity of the person who opened fire is not revealed. He was killed.

U.S. Navy pilots are being trained at the base.
