Using Beijing’s decision to introduce a national security law, protest organizers tried to stage a rally, but no one came to it.
On Friday, May 22, according to Reuters.
According to media reports, provocateurs expected to march in the central financial district of Hong Kong at noon local time [7:00 Moscow time], however, even after active online campaigning, only a small group of radicals came to protest.
In this regard, the organizers had to continue the campaign on the network, calling for demonstrations. Protesters believe the new legislation is “a great time to reload the protest.”
