Trump was predicted a defeat in the presidential election

The analytical company Oxford Economics carried out calculations, on the basis of which it was concluded that US President Donald Trump will be defeated in the upcoming elections, NNS reports.

The model used in the calculations was based on unemployment, inflation and real income in the United States. This projection showed the true results of almost all American elections, except for the campaigns of 1968 and 1976.

Using the model, analysts came to the conclusion that Trump will be able to get only 35% of the vote in the upcoming elections. They believe that problems in the US economy caused by the coronavirus pandemic could cause such results.

At the same time, the company noted that before the distribution of COVID-19, the likely percentage of votes that Trump will receive has stopped at around 55% for the same model. At the same time, analysts cautioned against early conclusions, since US policy on the coronavirus pandemic in the next six months could affect the voting results.
