The Socialist Party sent a request to the Constitutional Court of Moldova to consider the possibility of holding both presidential and early parliamentary elections.
Referring to the 2015 court ruling, the socialists recalled that the head of the republic has the right to dissolve the legislature and call early parliamentary elections, “if you fail to elect a government in the last six months of the president’s mandate.”
As News Front previously reported, the pro-Western Moldovan opposition set out to displace the current government of the country, provoking another political crisis.
To this end, the Pro Moldova parliamentary group, lobbying for the interests of political elites who have fled the country, bribes members of the Democratic Party who leave the PDM, destroying the parliamentary majority.
