Nazi party, plastid and throwing pigs – “flash” of extremism in German special forces

German law enforcement authorities detained a fighter of the special forces Kommando Spezialkräfte, who is suspected of involvement in extremist activities.

It is reported by the publication “Der Spiegel”.

According to media reports, the 45-year-old chief staff sergeant sergeant major [senior officer rank in the German army] Philip S. participated in a party with other soldiers. The festivities were accompanied by neo-Nazi music and regular demonstrations of greeting from the time of the Third Reich. In addition, during the party, guests were offered contests, in particular, throwing pork heads.

It is noteworthy that this event took place in April 2017, but German law enforcement authorities suspected that something was wrong was only now. The serviceman was detained, and in his house they found a Kalashnikov assault rifle and cartridges for him, as well as packages with plastid. Presumably, the officer received part of the ammunition in the Bundeswehr.
